Samsung One UI Update to Offer More Customisation for Themes, Galaxy S9 Gets Hotfix Beta Update to Fix Reception Issues

Following the beta launch, the company is currently rolling out another hotfix update for fixing bugs which creeped in with the upgrade. Furthermore, Samsung is also bringing more customisations of themes with the 1 UI/Android Pie upgrade. The new Theme Editor will allow users to alter how the notification cards seem; according to the theme you apply.
Famous motif designer Lucas Kendi states (through SamMobile) that One UI allows for more theme customisation than before. Themes employed to Samsung phones after upgrading to One UI could be edited to the user’s preference. The Theme Editor allows for customisation of notification cards too, something that wasn’t possible before. While the motif changed on the whole phone, the notification cards that show up in the telling color and the lock screen stay the same white in colour. However, that is all set to change with the new One UI update. Kendi even shared a screenshot which can be seen above.

The 1 UI is forecast to provide free themes for only 14 days after it’s implemented, after which they will be automatically removed. Samsung’s drive for paying up for compensated themes also brings more functionality with it.

In reality, the next beta version was rolled out just a couple of days back, and today the company is rolling out a fast hotfix upgrade to fix all the bugs. SamMobile reports that the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ confronted a issue with visibility of certain functions in the nighttime mode, and reception configurations also, after the latest beta upgrade. To solve these problems, the business has released a hotfix update for Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ users in South Korea.

The report says the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ owners at the beta program would get firmware version G960NXXU2ZRLA and G965NXXU2ZRLA respectively following the hotfix is used. With South Korea now receiving the hotfix upgrade, other beta markets should also get it soon. Make sure that you backup your device before installing the upgrade.
