Xiaomi is Very Likely to soon embrace Google’s Android Go programme and launch a model running Android 9 Pie (Go Variant ), as per reports.
The new development was suggested through alleged certifications in Russia, Singapore, and the US that reveal a Xiaomi phone carrying model number M1903C3GG. This is speculated as the Redmi Go that could be the organization’s first Android Go smartphone. Especially, since the Android Go initiative is aimed to offer an optimised experience on cheap smartphones, the new Xiaomi phone may be another very affordable model in the Redmi family.
As per the development spotted by technology website Nashville Chatter, Xiaomi’s Android Go smartphone with model number M1903C3GG has obtained certifications by Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the US and Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) in Russia. Both certification sources didn’t reportedly confirm the name of the new Android Move phone. But, it’s said that a Xiaomismartphone using the name Redmi Go has surfaced on Singapore’s IMDA certificate, with exactly the identical model number.

It’s also said to highlight that the telephone will possess 141mm of elevation and 71mm of width together with a diagonal dimension of 150mm. This also suggests that the handset may have an 18:9 aspect ratio.

Being an Android Go model, the Redmi Go can be found to have Android 9 Pie (Go variant ) out-of-the-box and could come with 1GB of RAM.

Since the certificate sources in Russia, Singapore, and the US are already discovered to have passed the newest model, the Redmi Go could arrive sometime in the coming months. It’s unlikely to be a premium model.
