Oppo K1, the Chinese smartphone maker’s affordable in-display fingerprint sensor smartphone, is set to launch India on February 6.
E-commerce spouse Flipkart has supported the Oppo K1 India launch launch through a dedicated microsite only days after posting a teaser. The Oppo K1 having an in-display fingerprint sensor has been introduced in China back in October last year. Additionally, it features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC below the hood, together with up to 6GB RAM. Oppo has also provided a 25-megapixel selfie camera to generate the smartphone capable enough to compete against other mobiles in the sub-Rs. 20,000 price section. The Oppo K1 price in India is very likely to begin at around Rs. 17,000.
The committed microsite by Flipkart shows that the Oppo K1 will officially arrive in India next week. The launch is taking place at 12pm (Noon) IST on February 6. Previously, the internet marketplace hinted in the coming of the Oppo K1 by showcasing its in-display fingerprint sensor technology and underlining an”unbelievable price”.

The Oppo K1 cost in India is yet to be revealed officially. But it’s very likely to be in accord with the China price that starts at CNY 1,599 (roughly Rs. 16,900) for the 4GB RAM variant. The model with 6GB RAM, on the other hand, is priced at CNY 1,799 (approximately Rs. 19,000).
