Nokia 9 Photo Leak Tips Front Display Design, New Phone With Triple Rear Cameras Also Leaks

The Nokia 9 is rumoured not to embrace a punch-hole design or a screen notch design, and such photos corroborate these claims. The Nokia 9 is also reported to come using a penta-lens camera setup – a first in a smartphone that’s expected to be outfitted with five sensors, one LED flash, and another double sensor too. There’s been another fascinating leak on the interwebs and it reveals a separate Nokia flagship-grade device with an entirely different design.
The Nokia 9, for starters, has been leaked in photographs once again, and this time the display panel was snapped from all angles. These photographs, shared by SlashLeaks, are in line with what’s been leaked before, and reveal the smartphone sporting bezels on the top and bottom edge. The bezels aren’t very thick, with the upper portion slimmer than the bottom part. There is no hole for a front speaker found in the bottom edge, along with the top edge homes all of the necessary sensors including the selfie snapper. There is also the Nokia branding found on the top edge of this device, while the underside edge is kept blank.

For those unaware, the Nokia 9 has been HMD Global’s rather ambitious flagship project that’s reported to have observed many delays. The delays are largely credited to the complicated rear camera installment that has as many as seven holes put in a hexagon format. The company was rumoured to launch it sometime in mid-2018, but hasn’t been able to date.

Coming to the next escape, a new Nokia device has been snapped showing the front and rear layout. The tipster suggests that the device is powered with the Snapdragon 845 SoC and sports an in-display fingerprint scanner, which means it sits at the premium segment. The photos have leaked on Weibo, and it shows an almost bezel-less apparatus free of notch up top, and also a small chin at the bottom, that homes the branding. The rear is seen sporting a reflective metal panel, using a triple rear camera set aligned vertically. There’s no rear fingerprint detector in sight too. The selfie detector may be hidden in a motorised or even a guide slider design.

This is actually the first time we are hearing of another Nokia apparatus powered from the Snapdragon 845 SoC, aside from the Nokia 9. The Nokia 9 was supposed to be the very first authentic flagship from HMD Global, yet this leak suggests that the business may seem to bring another smartphone into the table as well. Maybethis one’s Plan B, in case things really go downhill using the Nokia 9?
