MakeMyTrip CEO Denies Hotel Bookings Ban, Says 'It Is Business as Usual'Online travel Portal Site MakeMyTrip on Wednesday denied reports that claimed that hotel bookings on its platform in Addition to on Goibibo Are banned, stressing that”it’s business as Normal”.

A viral message on societal media maintained that MakeMyTrip and Goibibo have been prohibited.

In accordance with MakeMyTrip CEO, all bookings on its own platforms were honoured.

“We continue to run our business as normal, with approximately 1 lakh room nights booked just yesterday our platforms,” he added.

Magow’s reaction came in the backdrop of several resort spouses in Ahmedabad expressing concerns on their commercial terms with MakeMyTrip and Goibibo.

“We have about 55,000 domestic hotels and 500,000 international resorts as our partners and we’re proud and privileged to have this broad network of hotels to serve all of accommodation needs of our customers,” said the CEO.

“We are honouring all reservations on our platform across towns, making certain that there is no hassle for every customer who books on MakeMyTrip and Goibibo,” Magow added.

Based on Prashanth Aroor, MD and CEO, Intellistay Hotels, they stay fully available to book via MakeMyTrip and Goibibo.

“We continue to work closely together during this age of marketplace confusion to ensure that all bookings were honoured at all our resorts and customers are not overburdened in anyhow,” he said.
