As per a report in MacRumors, the white spot emerging on the iPad Pro units is brighter than the rest of the display and could be located about 1-2-inches over the home button. It appears to be a problem related with the backlighting, but the exact cause is unclear now. Most of the user reports notice the screen difficulty arose months in their usage of the device and was not current right out of the box.
I just noticed the white place last week when I was looking at a few white background articles, the spot does not seem on darker colours like black, white, grey, blue -most prominent on white,” an iPad Pro owner composed on Apple Communities.
“I’ve exactly the exact same problem and sadly it occurred two weeks after the guarantee had ended. Disappointing! ,” another user added.
MacRumors claims to have confirmed the problem on their 10.5-inch device of their 2017 iPad Pro also it’s in line with what the customers are reporting in Apple Communities and other forums.
Even though these reports have been emerging online for weeks now, the exact extent to which display issue is present on the iPad Pro units is a puzzle at this point. It is also not known if the exact same problem is present on the 2018 versions of the slate, but then the 2018 versions are fairly new and the issue only presents itself after months of use.
