American technology giant Google has started a new office in Berlin it says will give it the room to expand in the German capital.
CEO Sundar Pichai said Tuesday the space means Google could double the number of Berlin workers to 300. Google now has 1,400 employees in Germany.
Pichai says”that the town has long been a capital of culture and media. Now it is also home to a fast-growing startup scene as well as also an engine for innovation”
Google Central Europe vice president Philipp Justus didn’t directly deal with nice, but said Google’s committed to transparency and transparency on what data is collected and how it’s used.
