Google Maps for iOS Users Can Now 'Follow' Their Favourite Places

IOS users will then have the ability to remain current in their favorite places from the Google Maps program, Internet giant Google has declared. The rollout on iOS includes about five month following its debut on Android. Users may look for a location – if it is a brand new restaurant that opened in the area or must-try bakery across city – and tap on the”Follow” button. The button is currently rolling out into the iOS users worldwide.

“Beginning this week, you now are able to remain current in your favorite places from the Google Maps program on iOS. You will then have the ability to see significant updates from such areas on your’For You’ tab so that you can quickly find out about forthcoming events, offers and much more,” Andrew Cooper, Product Manager, Google Maps, composed in a blog article late on Wednesday.

“And today, places and companies all around the world can view their followers at the Google’My Company’ program, and knowingly post useful information to their own followers to view.

This Google Maps attribute was originally rolled out to get Android apparatus in October 2018.

“With over 150 million locations around Google Maps and countless individuals searching for places to go, we left two upgrades so that it’s even easier for you to stay informed about the areas you care about and discover out about places coming shortly,” Google had mentioned back in October.
