Captain Marvel reportedly Includes two post-credits scenes, according to members of the press who attended the First screening to the upcoming Film Before this week.
At this point from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, post-credits scenes are basically part of this convention. While some setup long term chapters, as was the situation with the only post-credits scene for Avengers: Infinity Warothers are essentially extended gags. Think of the giant ant playing with the drums in the end of Ant-Man and the Wasp.
Sonaiya Kelley, an entertainment reporter for the Los Angeles Times, tweeted Wednesday that”there are two post-credits scenes
which are worth staying for and also the anticipation for [Avengers:] Endgame is definitely stoked by this film”. She clearly could not say more because testimonials are still under embargo — that date remains a week or two off — but other reports suggest that one of those post-credits scenes will look before the credits the roll, with the next one appearing after the end of the credits.
Considering that the anticipation surrounding Avengers: Endgame, the fact that Infinity War’s post-credits scene called Captain Marvel, and that Endgame is scheduled to launch just over a month and a half after Captain Marvel, there was always likely to be a post-credits scene in Captain Marvel that could link into the highly-awaited sequel to Infinity War. Captain Marvel also has a”very touching Stan Lee tribute” before the movie starts, per a lot of other reports. Lee, who died in November last year, was a co-creator of their character along with artist Gene Colan.
