So far, Apple TV is available since the lone streaming device by Apple. Amazon even lately brought the Fire TV Stick 4K which arrives in Rs. 4,999 ($49.99 in the US).

The new dongle can help Apple expand its presence on the marketplace of streaming media players. According to a recent report by Parks Associates, the possession of flowing media players has grown from about half of US broadband homes in 2010 to 40% at the beginning of 2018. The report also said that the Apple TV leads on the avenues of gaming and simplicity of finding something new to observe and purchasing new content. Data startup Thinknum reported that Apple TV has now been the second best-selling 4K streaming apparatus from the US following Amazon’s Fire TV Stick 4K. This is in spite of the fact that the Fire TV Stick 4K is considerably lower compared to Apple TV 4K.

Apple is also likely to bring a dedicated app for smart TVs that will work for its original content. The business is rumoured to have plans to invest $1 billion (approximately Rs. 7,100 crores) for its original shows. The content is expected to be available for free for viewers who have Apple devices.

In the recent years, Apple has signed some production prices to kick off the evolution of its content streaming service. The business also brought celebrities such as Oprah Winfrey on board to make a model competing with Amazon, Netflix, and other streaming services.
